Art 8 Assignments

8th Grade: Please bring your iPads to art tomorrow. Thank you!

Yearbook Cover: Please design a cover for the yearbook. Your drawing must include the following details written on your paper:

 

A Year to Remember is our theme. Please draw an image that represents what you love most about OLG. You may use crayons, colored pencils, pastels, etc. All writing must be 1/2 inch from the edge of the paper. Please bring what you have completed next class. You will have the entire period to add finishing touches. This assignment will be included in your grade, so do your best work!

 

 

Students interested in designing the cover for our yearbook: Please e-mail Ms. Iannuzzi at [email protected] by this Friday, 12/21, with the theme you have chosen. Once it is approved, you may start designing your cover. Reminder that your first check in date will be Wednesday, 1/9, so Ms. Iannuzzi can see your progress, with final submissions being due on Wednesday, 1/23. Have fun, and be creative! (I've also attached a copy of the guidelines.)

Middle Schoolers! Some of you are so close to being done with your artwork for the trimester! I'm proud of your hard work. I will be available during lunch for students who would like some extra time to finish. You may also take home cactuses (watercolors) and eye color wheels (colored pencils) to complete and bring to me by this Friday. For those of you needing some extra support with the one-point perspective landscapes, I've put the link of the tutorial on my art page. Happy art-ing!
