Meet Ms. Iannuzzi!
Hello OLG families! Ms. Iannuzzi is so excited to be teaching your amazing kiddos again this year as your 2018-2019 art teacher and STEP coordinator. She also wanted to extend a warm welcome to our new families! She looks forward to getting to know all of you!
Ms. Kelly Iannuzzi attended California State University, Northridge, where she received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Liberal Studies, her Master of Arts degree in Elementary Education, with an emphasis in Curriculum and Instruction, as well as her preliminary teaching credential. She received her clear teaching credential from Mount Saint Mary's University. She has been in the field of education for the past ten years as both an elementary school teacher (grades 1, 3, 4, and 5) as well as a paraeducator (grades K-5) for the Los Angeles Unified School District. During the spring of 2012, she was honored with the LAUSD Paraeducator of the Year Award, for her efforts in the areas of intervention and for bringing the art of dance to the local school community.
She was born and raised in Woodland Hills and is the product of a Catholic education, having gone to St. Mel School and Louisville High School. She is very familiar with the quality of education a parochial school provides and is extremely excited to continue her love of Catholic education here at OLG. She is also a classically trained ballerina and spent the summers of 2010 and 2011 dancing in New York City with American Ballet Theatre’s Summer Intensive Program. Also, she has transitioned into the world of competitive ballroom dancing, having placed first through fourth in all of her competitions. Additionally, during the summer, she teaches art for California State University, Northridge's Summer Program for Elementary School Students (SAPESS). She has always been a lover of the arts and enjoys integrating music, theatre, and dance into all parts of the curriculum.
Please feel free to e-mail her with any questions you may have at email@example.com., and she will respond as soon as she is able to. She is looking forward to working with you to make this a fantastic school year for your child!
