In every class we prepare for our weekly Wednesday Mass.  The songs we sing are mostly contemporary and the children love to sing them!  All family members are invited to attend Mass every Wednesday at 8:00 with the entire school. Also, the entire school will participate in our annual Christmas and Spring Music & Art Show.

In our lower grades (TK through 2), we will use our voices, percussion instruments, and bodies to learn the basics of music including rhythm, pitch, beat, etc.  In grade 2 we will watch the classic "The Sound of Music".  Above all, we have fun!

Grade 3 takes a "musical trip around the world".

Grade 4 learns all about the symphony orchestra.

Grade 5 learns about some the most famous composers in musical history.

Grade 6 learns about Christian and Gospel music and its roots, all the way back to the old testament.

Grade 7 learns about Broadway musicals.  We will watch the classic "West Side Story" this year.  I am very excited to teach the 7th grade GarageBand on their iPads this year!

Grade 8 learns about our rich heritage of American and roots music.  We will also learn to use GarageBand on our iPads this year.
