7th Grade LITERATURE (Group B) Assignments

1. Please upload the final, typed copy of your 2 - Chunk Paragraph. 
2. If you completed a digital version of you book cover, upload it here as well.
3. If created a physical copy of your book cover, submit it in class. 

1. Review your discussion of the important events in The Pearl. 
2. Create a 6 - panel comic that illustrates the most important events from the text. 
3. Comic does not need to have dialogue - it can be all illustrations. 
4. Does need to be colored - but it should contain some level of creative effort

Students, if you do not finish your notes in class, we will continue to discuss them on Monday and they will be due at the end of the period.

1. Identify one important symbol present in The Pearl -- What does larger ideas does this symbol represent for the novel?

Finish reading the article. 
Annotate the text --> Provide commentary/personal response to the content you highlighted/underlined. 
Respond to the questions attached.

1. Select one character from "The Outsiders"
2. Using the Character's Name, write a poem to describe them. 
3. Each line should include one example of figurative language. 
4. You can either complete this on paper, Google Slides, or one of the art apps on your iPad. 
5. Your poems should be fully colored and decorated.

2. In the bubbles, write Commentary about two characters from the text (their thoughts, feelings, opinions, beliefs)
3. In the boxes, write Concrete details (in your own words) to support your Commentary 
4. In the center, draw the faces of the two characters
