Welcome to 8th Grade!!! I know it's going to be a great year!
The last week of 8th grade...
 
June 7 -- Graduation Practice - 1:00-2:30pm
  • All students are needed for graduation practice.
 
June 8 -- Graduation Practice - 1:00-2:30pm
  • All students are needed for graduation practice.
 
June 9 -- 8th Grade Breakfast & Awards Ceremony
  • Mass will be at 9:00am. All students should arrive at school between 8:30am and 8:45am.
  • Parents are welcome to attend Mass, but no other extended family members may attend as seating is limited.
  • Students should be dressed in a manner similar to May Crowning.
    • Girls: Please no spaghetti-strapped dresses unless you are planning to wear a sweater to cover your shoulders. Dresses must be no shorter than 2 to 3 inches above the knee. Heels must be no higher than 2 inches. Wedges are acceptable. 
    • Boys: Attire is a dress shirt and tie with dress slacks. Dress shoes only. (Suit coat not required for today.)
  • A light breakfast and the awards ceremony will take place in the Parish Center courtyard immediately following the Mass.
  • Students will be dismissed to go home at the conclusion of the awards ceremony.
 
June 10 -- 8th Grade Pool Party @ Crespi's new pool
  • 11:30am-2:30pm
  • Lunch will be served.
  • Students may come to school in school-appropriate free dress with their swimsuits under their clothes.
  • Don't forget a towel and sunscreen!
  • Please make sure all swimsuits are not too revealing.
 
June 11 -- Hawaiian Day & Last Day of School for 8th Graders
  • Hawaiian Day and other last-day-of-school activities will take place between 11:00am and 12:30pm.
 
June 11 -- 8th Grade Dinner-Dance
  • This will take place in the Parish Center courtyard. Invitations were emailed on May 21. Please RSVP.
  • As noted on the invitation, cocktail attire is expected.
 
June 12 -- Graduation Day!
  • Graduation Mass will begin at 10:00am.
  • The doors will open at 9:30am. Each family receives one pew, which will be assigned randomly at the door.
  • All students should arrive in the 8th-grade classroom by 9:30am.
  • Students should be dressed in a manner similar to May Crowning.
    • Girls: Dresses should be no shorter than 2 to 3 inches above the knee. Heels must be no higher than 2 inches. Wedges are acceptable.

  • Be sure your child's gown is pressed and ready to wear. Be sure your child has the cap and tassel as well.
  • No leis may be worn during the ceremony.
