School Board

Our consultative School Board is an instrumental part of our school community. Their leadership and commitment to our mission and school help us plan and build for the future of Our Lady of Grace School. Following our more than 75-year history of excellence in Catholic education in Encino, our consultative School Board works hard to ensure that our legacy and tradition continue for generations to come.
 
We are grateful to our 2025-2026 School Board, and welcome our broader community to familiarize themselves with our Board.   
Michelle AmadorMICHELLE AMADOR is a parent of two children currently attending Our Lady of Grace School and joined the OLG School Board during the 2024–2025 school year. She is passionate about supporting programs that foster both the academic and personal growth of students and is dedicated to being a strong voice for parents within the school community.

Michelle brings valuable leadership experience from her previous roles as President of the Parent Association at Berkeley Hall and as a board member at Bel Air Presbyterian Preschool, offering a well-rounded perspective on parent engagement and school advancement. 

Professionally, Michelle leads U.S. sales and strategic partnerships for The Clorox Company. With a career spanning domestic and international markets in the consumer-packaged goods industry, she brings a strategic, collaborative approach to every initiative. 

Michelle holds a B.A. from the University of California, Berkeley, and an M.B.A. from Pepperdine University.
 
Michelle joined the School Board in 2024.

Ty BergmanTY BERGMAN began his career as a real estate broker at 18 years of age with his father, Peter, selling luxury homes for builders and helping develop the area known as the Silver Strand in Marina del Rey, CA.  With a storied real estate career spanning 30 years and over $1 billion in closed sales, Ty Bergman views himself as a dedicated advisor, helping his clients create wealth through real estate investments. Whether his clients are looking to buy and sell a family home, identify a property for a flip, expand an investment portfolio, or identify a 1031 exchange property, Ty provides value-add opportunities to his diverse, discerning clientele.  Ty has also found success redeveloping several residential properties with his wife Ashley.  He is an avid outdoorsman, surfer, snowboarder, and martial artist who appreciates the Southern California lifestyle to the fullest.  Ty currently resides in Encino with his wife and their two children, Bennett and Hayden.

 

Ty joined the School Board in 2022.

MANUEL CORRAL is the Chief Operating Officer and Principal of ServPro Encino/ShermanManny Corral Oaks. Manny has over 16 years of experience in construction and has managed large mitigation and reconstruction projects. In addition, Manny and his partners, own Lucy Environmental and Lucy Construction.Manny is happily married to Cristina and has 3 lovely children, two of whom are OLG alumni and one current OLG student. 

Manny joined the School Board in 2018.

MIKE DENBEAU is a Partner at American Discovery Capital (ADC), a Los Angeles-based investment banking anMichael Denbeaud private equity firm focused on providing transaction advisory services and growth capital to founder-led and family-run businesses. Prior to ADC, Mike was a member of the senior management team of YapStone, Inc., a leading venture-backed provider of online and mobile payment solutions for global marketplaces and large vertical markets. Prior to YapStone, Mike was an investment banker with UBS and Donaldson, Lufkin & Jenrette (DLJ). Over the course of his investment banking career, Mike completed numerous M&A advisory and financing transactions for his clients in the business/technology services and software sectors. Mike holds a B.S. in finance and accounting from Indiana University.

Mike joined the School Board in 2022 and presently serves as the School Board Chair.

VICTORIA JALILI is a Deputy County Counsel with the County of Los Angeles, where she provides advice and counsel to L.A. County on labor and employment matters. Prior to working for L.A .County, Victoria worked for the State of California Department of Justice handling employmentVictoria Jalili litigation matters and investigations for the State within the Attorney General's office. Before that, Victoria was a Partner in private practice and also clerked for a federal judge in Louisiana. Over the course of her career, Victoria received achievement awards for her accomplishments, including published opinions by the California Court of Appeal.  
 
Victoria grew up in Louisiana, where she attended school at the Academy of the Sacred Heart. She is proud to continue that same type of legacy for her two daughters at Our Lady of Grace School.
 
Victoria holds a B.A. from the University of California, Santa Barbara, and a J.D. from Loyola Law School. 
 
Victoria joined the OLG School Board in 2023. 

Tara Klein PictureTARA KLEIN is a top producing real estate professional with Vista Sotheby’s International Realty. With a strong work ethic, and highly evolved interpersonal skills, Tara is fully focused on helping her clients to achieve their home-buying or selling goals. Tara grew up in Westlake Village, she attended Our Lady of Malibu, Louisville Highschool, and holds a B.A. in Communications from the University of Southern California. Tara won the South Bay Association of Realtor’s 2018 Citizen of the Year award for her on-going commitment to several different philanthropies in her community.

Although Tara resides in Manhattan Beach with her husband Ryan Nordyke (OLG Alumni), and their golden retriever Harley, she has deep professional and personal roots in the San Fernando and Conejo Valleys.

Tara joined the School Board in 2023.

ANTHONY PASTORE continued his post-OLG Catholic education at Loyola High School and laterAnthony Pastore Santa Clara University. He spent the first decade of his career in Tech before operating his own small business in construction. He has a great love of sports, travel and family, which consumes his free time. He is honored to be on the Board of Our Lady of Grace - Go Lions!
 
Anthony joined the School Board in 2023. 

 

 

 

PRIOR SCHOOL BOARD MEMBERS

Jaime CarreraJAIME CARRERA graduated from Law School in Monterrey, Mexico, and earned his Masters Degree in 2000 from the Catholic University in Argentina. He also earned an Executive Business Administration degree from the University of Notre Dame and completed a Business Management program from the IPADE.

Jaime has worked over 30 years in the beverage industry where he has held different management and executive positions in both domestic and international markets. He has worked with Labatt USA, Miller Brewing Co., Heineken USA, Casa Herradura (Now: Brown Forman).

Jaime’s true passion for beverages has resulted in the establishment of Compass, Inc., a California corporation that is fully licensed to import and wholesale distilled spirits, beer, and wine. Compass provides a full spectrum of consulting services to CPG companies from consumer and brand strategy to route to market.

Jaime resides in Sherman Oaks, CA, with his wife Fabiola and his three sons: Santiago, Matias, and Pablo, all of whom attend or attended Our Lady of Grace School.

Jaime served on the School Board 2018 - 2023. 

Vanessa Dew VANESSA DEW is an entrepreneur. She founded Health-Ade Kombucha in 2012 and continues with the firm today. Prior to founding Health-Ade, she worked at GlaxoSmithKline from 2006-2013. She attended the USC Marshall School of Business from 2010-2013.

She is mom of 2 children, Oliver and Audrey. She is an OLG alumna in the class of 1998.

Vanessa served the OLG School Board from 2018-2023.

DR. NICHOLAS DI DOMENICO, MD, IN MEMORIAM, was a member of the OLG parish since 1984 when his two oldest daughters started school at OLG in September 1984. His eldest two daughters graduated from OLG and they continued to grow their family with three more children who also attended and graduated from OLG. His late wife, Priscilla, was a member of the OLG school board and was president of the school's PTO Board in 1992. She passed in 2006.

Dr. Di Domenico was a nephrologist or kidney doctor. He practiced medicine here in the San Fernando Valley for forty years and retired on June 1, 2022, because of medical illness.Dr. Nicholas Di Domenico

He grew up in the Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, area. He received a BA in biology and an MS in Environmental Health at Temple University. He graduated from the Medical College of Pennsylvania in 1976 with an MD and completed his residency in internal medicine at the University of Pittsburgh.

He came to Los Angeles in 1980 and completed a fellowship in nephrology at UCLA and then joined a large nephrology practice here in the San Fernando Valley. 

He was impressed by how well OLG has developed our programming and physical campus over these years and became a leading Catholic elementary school in the San Fernando Valley. He was a proud member of the OLG School Board.

Dr. Di Domenico served the School Board from 2018 - 2023. He went with the Lord in 2024.
