If you remember, we discussed two possible interpretations of the ending for The Giver--Jonas and Gabe are either hallucinating and die in the snow, or they finally reach a place that is full of love and family. In a 2 chunk paragraph, analyze and discuss which interpretation you feel is most likely happening.

For homework over the weekend you should be catching up on The Watsons go to Birmingham. We have already read a few chapters in class, and you should have continued reading over the past couple weeks at your pace. Therefore you must have completed reading up to chapter 7 by Monday (October 11).


In other words, you must read up to page 99 in Watsons. Remember that annotations will be checked.
