Read the front article in Week 30 of Social Studies Weekly, "Introducing the United States Constitution!"  Study the Preamble of the United States Constitution at the bottom of the article.  Look up any words you don't know and then paraphrase (put it in more understandable words) the Preamble without changing the meaning!  Do your best and we'll review it as a class on Wednesday. :)

Read Week 29 "Why Do We Need a Government Anyway?

 

Read Week 29 "Dividing Power."  Begin to compare and contrast Executive, Legislative, and Judicial Branches of government.  We'll talk more about this on Friday!
