Science 6 Assignments

Please look at Gradelink for any missing assignments. Work will be accepted for partial credit up until Monday, 6/10. No other work will be accepted after Monday. 

Planets Research Project Worksheet should be completed and uploaded to Classroom by the end of class tomorrow, Thursday, June 6.

 

Read through week 7 (Stars, Planets, Galaxies) and week 8 (Planets) newspapers. We will have an quiz on Friday. You will be allowed to use the newspapers, so make sure you have them. 

Bring in material for your Edible Car STEM project. We will begin building on Wednesday. 

Create a Google Doc and name it Edible Car Reflection. Write a reflection of the progress you have made this week on your edible car. Reflect on your original plan. What seems to be working? What doesn't seem to be working? What are the next steps you and your partner need to take next week?

Completed Volcano projects are due on Monday in Google Classroom. Please make sure to upload your projects as a pdf. Presentations will begin on Wednesday, December 5.

In your science notebooks, create a multi-flow map for your designated natural disaster. Write your natural disaster in the middle and create arrows pointing to different effects of that natural disaster. 

Shaping the Earth Test

Review your Shaping the Earth study guide, Plate Tectonics doodle sheet, Quizziz game and the Kahoot to prepare for the test on Friday, November 2. To play the Kahoot, you must have two devices. One to act as the "teacher" and one to act as the "student".
