Art 7 Assignments

7th Grade: Last call for self-portraits. Please turn them in to Ms. Iannuzzi, no later than tomorrow, Friday, 6/7. Thank you!

7th Grade: Since we didn't have art this week due to concert rehearsals, please have your completed self portrait by next Tuesday, 6/4. Have a great weekend!

Take a black and white selfie with your iPad. Please try to have your face be the main focus of the 8 ½x 11 inch picture, with a simple background. Please print it out, and bring it to class. If you don’t have a way to print it out at home, please e-mail it to me by Monday, April 1, by 3:30 PM, at:

[email protected], so I can print it for you.

(I will not be able to print out pictures Tuesday morning.)

You will need a hard copy of your picture because we will be creating a grid to help us break down the different sections of our faces. Just having the picture on your iPad won’t work for this project.

7th Grade: Please finish your Special Friends Day card, and turn it in next class, 1/22. Remember, these are generic, meaning you are not writing it to your specific special friend. Please decorate the front of your card. On the inside, thank the special friend for coming to our school. You can even wish them well, hope for them to have a nice day, etc. Sign it from Our Lady of Grace. Decorate it however you'd like!

Middle Schoolers! Some of you are so close to being done with your artwork for the trimester! I'm proud of your hard work. I will be available during lunch for students who would like some extra time to finish. You may also take home cactuses (watercolors) and eye color wheels (colored pencils) to complete and bring to me by this Friday. For those of you needing some extra support with the one-point perspective landscapes, I've put the link of the tutorial on my art page. Happy art-ing!
