Ms. Jan Halphen

Ms. Jan Halphen holds a Bachelor of Arts in Communication Arts and Sciences from the University of Southern California. She brings over a decade of experience in education, having served as an After School Director at a parochial school and as an Instructional Aide for TK and Kindergarten. Ms. Halphen is also a seasoned English and ESL tutor, and has taught TOEFL preparation and test-taking strategies to international students.

In her free time, she enjoys listening to classical music, watching uplifting films, bird watching, and taking long walks in nature. She looks forward to supporting and encouraging students—especially those in the upper grades—with warmth, patience, and joy.
