Ms. Karen Medrano

Hello! My name is Miss Medrano, and I am excited to serve as the Health Office Coordinator and Executive Assistant to the Principal at Our Lady of Grace School. I graduated from the University of California, Irvine, where I earned bachelor’s degrees in English Literature and Film and Media Studies, along with a minor in Creative Writing. During my time at UCI, I had the opportunity to work as a Teacher’s Assistant at the Infant Toddler Daycare Center, as well as a Student Coordinator for the schools UTeach program. These experiences allowed me to develop a passion for working with children and supporting educational communities.

After graduating, I worked at a personal injury law firm as a Legal Assistant and Case Manager, where I gained valuable experience in organization, communication, and administrative support. I am excited to bring these skills into my role at our school and to contribute to a caring, welcoming, and faith-centered environment for our students, families, and staff.Looking ahead, I hope to return to school to pursue a master’s degree and continue growing in my passion for education and service.

Outside of work, I enjoy taking ballet classes, reading a good book, tutoring, rewatching my favorite TV shows and movies, and spending time with my friends and family. I am grateful for the opportunity to be part of our school community and look forward to getting to know our students and families! God Bless!
