Meet Mrs. Batarse

Catherine Batarse was born and raised in the Midwest. In college, she majored in Elementary Education with a Special Education Minor and later achieved a Master's Degree in Education with an Emphasis in Instructional Leadership. Mrs. Batarse also currently holds a California Clear Credential. This year marks her 20th year of teaching with experience teaching grades 2, 3, 5, and 6. She enjoys seeing the "Ah-ha" moments where students grasp a concept that she's teaching, as well as relating the content they are learning to real-life experiences. In Mrs. Batarse's free time, she enjoys spending time with her family and friends. She also loves smiley faces and making others smile.
