This is a GREAT song which tells the story of the crucifixion through the eyes of the penitent thief.  Good for the older children:

Michael John Poirier, who visited our school earlier this year has some excellent resources on this page Also, his all his music can be found on his website on this link under music.

"The Pieta" tells the story of the crucifixion through Mary's eyes.  Mama's Love is great for the lower grades.   Sometimes I have the children color the picture they see in their heads while they are listening to this song.   It is a great activity for chilren.

Below are a couple of stories and songs by Michael John:

Mama's Love (below) (2 minute story)  **Lower Grade Teachers - sometimes I will have the children color the picture they see in their heads while they are listening to this artist.  It could be a great quiet activity**

Pieta Song (below) (8 minute song - should be played immediately after the story)
