Meet the Teacher

Mrs. Michelle Roberson joined the OLG family in 2016 as a parent.  She joined the faculty as the third grade teacher in 2017.  After a wonderful year with the amazing third graders, she was happy to have the opportunity to move to fourth grade with the class. She remained in fourth grade for two more years until moving to the position of STEP Director. Mrs. Roberson believes in treating each student as an individual and working closely with parents to meet each child's needs. She strives to create a classroom environment that supports a positive learning experience for all. 

 

Mrs. Roberson is a product of Catholic education.  She attended Catholic elementary and high schools and earned her degrees from Loyola Marymount University and the University of San Francisco. She is beginning her 31st year as a Catholic educator.  Initially, she taught first grade and kindergarten for several years.  She then spent 14 years as a principal before returning to the classroom when her youngest daughter started school.  

 

When she is away from school, Mrs. Roberson enjoys spending time with her family.  She and her husband have two daughters, one who is grown, and one who attends St. Genevieve High School.  They also have three dogs that keep the family very busy.
